Web Page Templates
The following templates are provided as examples of web pages produced by Assessment and Planning for SDES units and departments. The graphics and templates provide a springboard to imagine other possible templates and graphics that can be created. Text information is presented to help you understand how the page was designed and can be discarded in the design process.
Some pages use transparent .gif files to position the text around the graphics or to create a margin. You can regulate the size of the gaps by adjusting the size settings of the transparent .gif image tags. All of the pages were designed using tables. The tables have the border set to zero to hide the lines created by the borders.
To view the templates, click on one of the template names below. The page and its elements have been placed them into a .zip file. To download the zip file, simply click on it and choose the save option. Netscape gives you four choices, the third choice from the left is to save the file. You will need an unzip utility to open the file. If you do not have an unzip utility, you can save the page manually by viewing and then saving the source code for the page. Also, you may right click on the graphics to save them. If you save the .htm file in a directory called \mytemplate, then the graphics should be saved in a directory called \mytemplate\images.
